Small form factor SSD has high performance

The C400 (MTFDDAT0xxxMAM) solid-state disk drive comes in a small 29.9 x 50.8 x 3.75 mm mSATA format and features sequential read performance up to 500 Mbytes/s for 64, 128, 256 Gbyte versions. The drive uses a SATA 6 Gbit/s interface.

Write speeds are up to 175 Mbytes/s for the 128 Gytes version and 260 Mbytes/s for 256 Gbyte version. Average power consumption is less than 200 mw and idle power is less than 85 mw. The drives thin profile and 10 gram weight make it excellent for UltraBook applications. (Price not given available now.)
