The 1U MicroBox MicroTCA enclosure has a side-to-side cooling configuration without bends in the airflow path so the chassis can be cooled with fans on the side of the unit. Designed to dissipate 35 W per mid-size single-width module, the case has eight fans, each providing 20 cfm at 1.5 in. of water.
The 45 x 465 x 210-mm unit accommodates up to 10 mid-size, single-width modules in its five module bays, which accept single or double modules in full, mid, or compact sizes.
