Small OCXO aims at telecomm, wireless savings

A 9 x 14-mm SMT oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO), the Model 149 delivers performance that improves signal sources for telecommunications switching and wireless communication applications. And, at $45 each in 100-piece quantities, it offers significant cost savings.

The part’s stability is as tight as ±50 ppb at –40°C to 85°C and a low phase noise of –152 dBc/Hz offset 100 kHz from the carrier. The device delivers frequencies in the range from 10 to 25 MHz and offers 3.3V or 5.0V supply voltage options. At 25°C  in steady state, it consumes less than 1.
