Small power inductors handle high frequency

The XEL4012, XEL4014, and XEL4020 low-loss power inductors are optimized for high-frequency applications. They feature a DCR of 2.5 to 38.7 mΩ, maximum, and small 0.157-inch square packages. Package height is just 0.047, 0.055, or 0.083 inches.

The device’s inductance ranges from 0.09 to 2.2 µH. They offer low AC losses for high-speed switching up to 2 to 5+ MHz and stable inductance to as high as 200 MHz. They are available with current ratings as high as 28.5 A, and their composite core material, with soft saturation characteristics, can withstand high current spikes.
