Measuring just 38 (Dia) x 20 mm and weighing a mere 100 g in their stainless-steel enclosures, TX-M12-RTD series temperature transmitters have integral M12 connectors that maintain IP67 protection for both sensor and instrumentation while allowing quick and simple change of sensor. The transmitters — which are designed for use with two-, three-, or four-Wire Pt100, Pt500, or Pt1000 sensors as well as Ni100, Ni1000, and variable resistance units up to 10,000 Ω — support a measurement range of −200° to 850°C in a −40° to 85°C ambient environment.
Either of two output ranges — 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 Vdc — is available with ±0.2°C + 0.05%-of-reading accuracy. Default scaling for the output is 0 to 100°C; other ranges can be specified at purchase, or users can program the scale using an optional USB module and free software. (From $175 — available now.)
