Suited for such mobile RF applications such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, WLAN, smartphones, NFC, and RFID, E3SB series quartz crystals are enclosed in a ceramic base package measuring just 3.2 x 2.5 x 0.75 mm, with a seam-sealed metal lid for a stress free hermetic seal and gold plated terminals that afford high heat and shock resistance. The quartz crystals can also serve in non-RF applications where more demanding environmental conditions exist.
Available in fundamental-mode frequencies of 10 to 64 MHz, including such popular frequencies as 13.824, 19.2, 25, 26, 27.12, 30, 31.25, 40, 50, and 54 MHz, the crystals can have frequency tolerances at 25°C as tight as ±10 ppm, and frequency stability as tight as ±10 ppm over −30 to 85°C (extended operating temperature ranges are also available). ESR for a 54-MHz crystal is 50 Ω max. Available in high volumes on 3,000-piece reels, the devices comply with requirements for RoHS and Pb-free reflow board assembly processes.
