Smallest GNSS receive FEMs offer best noise figure
The BGM104xN7 GNSS receive front-end modules (FEM) are offered to have the best noise figure and smallest size at 2.3 x 1.7 x 0.73 mm3 in the industry. They offer 0.15 dB better noise figure than its previous generation BGM103xN7 which is pin-to-pin compatible.
They support simultaneous reception of both GPS and GLONASS signals. The modules combine the pre-filter and LNA stages of the GNSS signal chain front-end and cover the frequency range from 1,575 to 1,605 MHz.
The BGM104xN7 series contains two modules, targeted for specific platform applications. The BGM1043N7, a standard solution meeting high-performance GPS/GLONASS specifications, with 14.8 dB gain and 1.5 dB noise figure. And the BGM1044N7, which is a high-gain (17.0 dB) version (1.55dB noise figure) for systems with high losses in the receive chain, such as personal navigation devices and digital still cameras, where the potential for jamming due to high power cellular signals is less critical. They are shipped in a TSNP-7-10 leadless package. ($0.50 ea/10,000 — available now)
