The iPOS4808 BX-CAT intelligent digital servo drive controls brushless, DC brush, and step motors. The drive features an EtherCAT interface and will drive 8 A continuous, 20 A peak with a 11 to 50 V motor supply.
The drive can be controlled with EtherCAT or be programmed directly at drive level using the high level Motion Language (TML). It can be used in dual-loop control applications where motor and load sensors can be single-ended, differential or sine/cosine encoders. Digital and linear Hall sensors are also accepted. The 3.48 x 2.85 x 0.65 inch unit costs 503 Euros and EasyMotion Studio software is an option.
