Based on MotionChipTM DSP control technology, the IS23x-MA intelligent step motors integrate a stepper motor, power electronics, and controller, and interface in 96 x 57 x 57-mm package. Basic local digital and analog I/O signals and PLC functionality is also included to reduce the motor cabling through the machine and eliminate the need for external-setup analog components.
Offered in two lengths, the step motors provide 1 to 1.8-Nm permanent output torque and operate from a 12 to 48-V single power supply. Resolution is equivalent to 256 microsteps/step.
