Eighteen models of the TES-5 series 5-W dc/dc converter modules are available in 33.4 x 20.6 x 10.2-mm low-profile SMD packages. The converters feature a 2:1 input voltage range of 9 to 18, 18 to 36, 36 to 75 Vdc, and an I/O isolation of 1,500 Vdc. The operating temperature range is -40 to 85C and up to 71°C at full load.
The converter switching frequency is 260 kHz. It has a built-in EMI-filter that meets EN 55022, class A and FCC level A requirements without additional components. Typical applications for the converters are battery-powered equipment, instrumentation, communication systems and industrial controls. (Single-output models, $18.50 ea/1,000 — stock to 6 weeks ARO.)
