SMT assembly suits SSL manufacturing

The G13-style SMT assembly and end-cap cover enables high-volume manufacturing of solid-state lighting such as fluorescent LED retrofit tubes by allowing a quick electrical connection to the PCB and a standard pin interface to fixture lamp socket (tombstone) connectors. The assembly is FR4 and aluminum-clad PCB compatible, and also includes a surface-mount hold-down for connector stability during insertion/extraction of LED tubes.

Current rating is 2 A, with 250-Vdc/250-Vac voltage rating, 1,500-Vac dielectric withstanding voltage and a 0.5-in. pin centerline spacing per G13 specification. Operating temperature range is 40° to 120°C. The assembly is RoHS compliant and ETL recognized to UL 8750 and UL 1993 standards. (Contact company for pricing and availability.)
