The low-profile Mezza-pede connector system is designed for 1-mm-pitch micro board-to-board and flex cable-to-board applications and meets mixed flowing gas (MFG) test standards. The connectors feature a patented, fully surface-mountable pin and lead frame design and screw-machined terminals with multifinger contacts.
With a mated height of 4 mm, the connectors have an over-molded lead frame that seals the surface mount pins and ensures a solid solder joint at the PCB level. Standard dual row 8- and 14- position versions are available with custom pin counts, and the connectors come packaged in tape and reel for automated assembly.
