Measuring 2.0 x 1.6 x 0.5 mm, the R2016 series surface-mount crystal oscillators are claimed to be the industry’s smallest. The part is suitable for WLAN, Bluetooth, USB, GPS, camera phone modules or any applications where size is of major importance.

Features include an operating temperature range from −40° to 85°C and a fundamental frequency range of 20.000 to 80.000 MHz at a standard frequency tolerance of ±50 ppm, with high-accuracy versions of ±10, 20, and 30 ppm available. Packaging for the R2016 series is at 1,000 pieces per 178-mm-diameter reel. ($0.50 ea/10,000 8 weeks ARO.)
