The ST75M power line communications SoC is METERS AND MORE protocol stack compliant and features a high-performance configurable DSP core for flexible PHY layer processing. It also has a 57.6 kbit/s host controller UART interface, a power amplifier for line driving, and a AES-128 encryption engine.
The chip has a fully integrated analog front-end with A/D and D/A, digital transmission level control, a programmable gain amplifier, and a high sensitivity receiver. Communication carrier frequency is programmable up to 250 kHz and the device comes in a VFQFPN48 7 x 7 exposed pad package and operates over -40° to 85°C.
