Socket adapter pair allows pitch of 0.8 mm

The Giga-snaP BGA SMT adapter pair includes the SF-BGA316C-B-62F patent-pending female sockets which feature machined pins epoxy over-molded into an assembly that matches the male pin LS-BGA316C-61. The female socket allows 0.8-mm pitch, 17 x 17-mm body, 20 x 20-array Analog Device ADSP-BF539/ADSP-BF539F IC’s to operate in demanding automotive applications and comes soldered to a PCB.

A target 316 ball Analog Devices BGA chip, or other compatible chip, can be attached to the LS-BGA316C-61 BGA adapter which plugs into the female socket on the board, after which the system is able to operate. (SF-BGA316C-B-62F $200 each, LS-BGA316C-61 $79 each — available now.)
