The SpiCalci SMPS-capacitor-selection software has recently been upgraded to version 5.0. The free software offers users to select critical parameters, build a part number, and view charts such as ESR, impedance versus frequency, temperature change versus applied current, and maximum current over frequency.
The software incorporates AVX’s TurboCap tecnhology, the MH Series, and the expanded MIL PRF 49470 capacitors. (SpiCalci 5.0 available for free download at www.avx.com.)
