Solatube International, Inc. , the worldwide leading manufacturer and marketer of Tubular Daylighting Devices (TDDs), is offering a sneak peak of the Solatube SkyVault Collector at Lightfair International (LFI) 2014 tradeshow, June 3 through 5, in Las Vegas.

The Solatube SkyVault Series features the largest tubular daylighting devices yet, Solatube M74 DS Daylighting Systems. The newest advancement is a SkyVault Collector which captures significantly more daylight than traditional skylights without heating the building interior. It maximizes daylight delivery by capturing and redirecting low-angle light downward into the system and minimizes solar heat gain by preventing heat-carrying infrared rays from entering the system.

Additional benefits of the Solatube SkyVault Series include:

  • A 29-inch diameter opening to the sky, making it possible for more light to enter an area.
  • Higher daytime illuminance and/or greater spacing between units resulting in fewer roof penetrations.
  • Maximum output while minimizing impact on the building envelope and significantly reducing installation costs.
  • Temperature control with insulated and sealed curb-mounted roof assemblies that minimize heat gain/heat loss through the roof and are designed to easily integrate into a building’s vapor barrier.
  • Ideal for large spaces with high ceilings, such as airports, convention centers, lobbies, warehouses, manufacturing facilities and retail centers.

The Solatube SkyVault Series and the new SkyVault Collector will be featured at the company’s booth at LFI. Solatube International President Robert Westfall will be available for press interviews. Information will be available at Solatube International’s LFI Booth 6417.
