Key parts from Nexperia’s  SOT23-packaged family of high-performance, general-purpose transistors and switching diodes are now fully specified for operation up to 175°C. These include the BAS16 /BAS21 high-speed switching diode and BC807 /BC817  general-purpose transistors, which are qualified to AEC-Q101 for automotive reliability.

The 175°C SOT23 devices also tout a 25% higher total power dissipation (Ptot ) than standard 150°C rated parts. This means that the parts can be used in high-temperature designs for under-the-hood applications including gear boxes and motor drives, as well as LED lighting and other industrial uses.

Nexperia’s portfolio of 175°C diodes and transistors now covers all performance classes up to 15 A. The family of 175°C products are available in packages ranging from leadless DFN to leaded SMD and clipbond FlatPower (CFP) and LFPAK packages.
