Spacers and nuts are surface mountable

The PEM ReelFast SMT spacers and nuts install permanently on PCBs similarly to other SMT components prior to the reflow solder process. The steel fasteners can reduce the risk of damage to boards that may occur when conventional fasteners are improperly installed with off-line equipment.

Threaded types are available in sizes #2-56 through #8-32 and M2 through M4, while through-hole versions come in sizes of 0.116 and 0.143 in. or 3.6 and 4.2 mm. Lengths range from 0.065 to 0.375 in. and 2 to 10 mm. (Contact Michael Rossi for pricing and availability.)
