SPDT switch suits cellular and LTE/4G

This HMC849LP4CE GaAs pHEMT SPDT MMIC switch is ideal for cellular/LTE/4G infrastructure applications offering up to 60-dB isolation and 52-dBm input IP3, with insertion loss as low as 0.8 dB. The part offers a P1dB compression point of 32 dBm over the 5 to 6-GHz WiMAX band.

It features on-chip circuitry which accepts a single positive control voltage of 0/+3 V or 0/+5 V at very low dc currents. An enable input set to logic high will put the switch in an “all off” state with both outputs terminated into 50 Ω. The HMC849LP4CE is housed in a RoHS-compliant 4 x 4-mm QFN SMT package and complements the company’s broad line of SPST and SPNT switch products with frequency coverage up to 86 GHz.
