The SmartER series of xDSL, high-density, low-pass splitter/filter modules suit very-high-bit-rate digital subscriber line (VDSL2) applications, and can also be used in ADSL and ADSL2+ applications. The B8841NL complies with the ETSI 600-Ω real impedance standard, and the B8846NL meets the ETSI option B and BT (British Telecom) SIN-346 complex impedances.

With a footprint of 17 x 13 mm, the modules can carry frequencies up to 30 MHz. RoHS-6 -compliant, the modules are pin-to-pin compatible, allowing the same board layout to accommodate different standards for different countries simply by changing the component model. (From $2.95—available now.)
