Operating between 2.402 and 2.478 GHz, the
PKLR2400 frequency-hopping, spread-spectrum radio
can be used in either point-to-point or
multipoint applications. Over-air data rates
reach 1 Mbit/s at ranges of up to 3,000 ft.
The radio is available with either a 5-V
TTL serial or parallel interface that provides
data transfers of up to 800 kbits/s or 4 Mbits/s,
respectively. Other features include an RX
sensitivity of 90 dBm, an output power of
either 10 or 100 mW, and an operating range of
0° to 60°C. ($99 ea/1,000–available
now.)
