Spring-loaded connectors are just 2.54 mm high

For board-to-board or device-to-board connections in surface mount applications where above-board height is limited, series 815-22-0XX-30-001101 single-row and series 817-22-0XX-30-001101 double-row spring-loaded connectors from Mill-Max  have a height of just 2.54 mm (0.100 in.) in a 2.54-mm grid.  Single-row connectors are available with 2 to 32 positions, while double-row components have 4 to 72 positions.

The low profile spring-loaded connectors uses the same technology and internal spring components as previous devices from the company to ensure quality and reliability. Components and springs are gold-plated for high conductivity, corrosion resistance, and durability. The spring-loaded pins have mid-stroke travel of 0.3 mm and full stroke travel of 0.61 mm, current ratings of 2 A continuous, 3 A max, are rated for one million cycles.  The high-temperature-plastic housing is suitable for all soldering processes and the connectors are RoHS compliant.
