The Agility 4 solid state disk drive series delivers 6-Gbit/s SATA III interface speed and up to 400-Mbyte/s sequential read and write speeds. The drive comes in 64-, 128-, 256-, and 512-Gbyte capacities in a 2.5- in. form factor and uses MLC flash.
Maximum 4-Kbyte random read speed is 48,000 IOPS, random write is 85,000 IOPS. MTBF is 2 million hours and ECC corrects up to 78 random bits/1 Kbyte. The drive takes only 1.3 W idle and 2.5 W active. (256-Gbyte drive, approx. $260 — available now.)
