SSOP-4 optocoupler has low input current

The VOS618A optocoupler features low DC input currents of 1 mA, and a compact SSOP-4 mini-flat package, which saves more than 60% board space compared to a DIP-4. Designed for isolated feedback loops and isolation in switch-mode power supplies and solar inverters, the ICs have an 80 V output transistor.

Priced at just $0.21 ea/3,000, the device yields 3,750 V isolation and has versions with minimum CTR of 50 to 130 available. Turn on time is 14 µs, and turn off is 12 µs. Creepage distance is more than 5 mm.
