StackableUSB board measures light, temperature, humidity, pressure

Incorporating four sensors onto a compact 1.85 x 1.74-in. form factor, the I2C1610 StackableUSB Environmental Sensor Board can measure temperature, light, humidity, and atmospheric pressure via an I2 C interface. The ambient light sensor provides a sensing range of 1 to 65,535 lux with a spectral response of 400 to 850 nm, and the Honeywell HIH series humidity sensor detects 0% to 100% RH with an accuracy of ±3.5%.

The board’s digital temperature sensor has four selectable resolutions from 9 to 12 bits with an accuracy of ±0.5°C typ, and it’s Infineon absolute atmospheric pressure sensor detects 40 to 115 kPa with a sensitivity of 53.3 mV/kPa. Requiring only 10 mA typ, 26 mA max at 5 V, the card can be operated at 40 to 85C. (From $150 ea/single qty available now.)
