Stackpole Electronics now offers several engineering design sample kits for a variety of resistor types. Designed for new design prototyping, these development kits include the RMCF thick-film resistors, the CSR current-sense resistors, and the RNCS thin-film resistors.
Designed for general-purpose requirements, the RMCF kits offer each resistance value in 1% tolerances in a single decade or 5% tolerances in a two-decade span. Resistor sizes range from 0201 up to 1206.
For current-sensing or low-resistance requirements, the CSR kits offer a range of resistance values depending on chip size. For the 1206 and 2010 sizes, the kits offer 21 of the most common resistance values, and the 2512 size includes 27 values, all at a 1% tolerance.
For more precision requirements, the RNCS kits offer a moisture-resistant thin-film product in 45 common values for the 0603 size and 47 common values for the 0805 size. Both sizes are available with a 0.1% tolerance and 25-ppm temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR).
Prices depend on the kit type, size, and tolerance. Contact Stackpole or its franchised distributors for volume pricing.
