Polycase has launched a new line of NEMA-rated steel enclosures that protect industrial equipment against circulating dust, falling dirt, rain, and hose-directed water. The SB Series steel enclosures comply with the UL 508A standard and meet NEMA 1, 2, 4, 4X, and 12 requirements along with IP65 and IP66 ratings.
The new steel enclosures are available in 18 sizes ranging from 8 x 6 x 6-in. up to 24 x 24 x 10-in. dimensions. And Polycase can customize the size of SB Series enclosures using CNC cutouts.
Every enclosure unit comes with an internal panel, external mounting brackets, latch-key, and grounding wire. A smooth gray powder coat covers the 16-gauge steel housing.
Then there are features such as a hinged door with keyed quarter-turn latch, watertight gasket, and bonding studs for grounding in both the base and the door. The SB Series steel enclosures can be purchased on the Polycase website.
