Step-down module suits 28-V avionics use

The VPTHVM-270 series bus converter modules provide 200-W output power and operate from a 270-V bus to step down the power to a regulated 28-V bus used by avionics power systems. The 160 to 500-V input range accommodates MIL-STD-704 power requirements. The converter provides 91% efficiency and operates from –55° to 100°C.

The bus converter module has a footprint of 2.35 x 1.550 in. and weighs 85 g. It provides 3,000 V isolation, allows five units to work in parallel, and features undervoltage lockout and output soft start. ($414 ea/large qty — available now.)
