Stepper motor controller provides precision

The MCST 3601 programmable motion controller is ideal for micro-stepper motors with phase currents that are sometimes less than 100 mA. The controller can precisely regulate phase currents from 10 mA to 1.1 A. It operates from a supply of 9 to 36 Vdc with a PWM frequency of 16 KHz and up to 256 micro-steps.

Communication is via USB 2.0, with all types of movements programmable using the available software. There are limit switch, home switch, and incremental encoder inputs. The 68 x 47.5 mm board can operate over -30° to 70°C.
