Providing tools to support Java software-design for embedded systems, the STM3220G-JAVA Starter Kit combines an evaluation version of IS2T’s MicroEJ Java software development kit and the STM32F2 series microcontroller evaluation board. The tools support advanced object-oriented programming software development on STM32F2 and STM32F4 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3- or -M4-based MCUs.
Designs for white goods, office equipment, and industrial controls can easily present users with rich graphical features such as animations and widgets using Java based software tools. The STM3220G-EVAL board has a 3.2-in. 240 x 320 TFT color LCD with touchscreen capability, a LIS302DL MEMS accelerometer, Ethernet, RS-232, and a joystick. ($349 — available now.)
