Subminiature connectors work flexibly in LED apps

The disconnectable, crimp-style ADH Series wire-to-board subminiature connectors offer design flexibility as well as reliable contact for high-density LED applications. These 1.3-mm pitch, right-angle entry SMT connectors are designed for maximum pcb flexibility with a mated height of only 1.9 mm. The series’ unique design features include a socket half that is mated with the header from the vertical direction, while wires come out of socket in the horizontal direction. This unique construction allows for the placement of the header anywhere on the PCB with components placed all around without causing mating concerns.
 
The connectors are polarized and have a secure friction locking feature when mated. Made of a gold-plated-over-nickel, copper-alloy-base material, the connectors are available for three-wire circuits with a rating of 3.0 A at 50 Vac/dc using a 26 AWG wire; AWG 28 to 26 wire sizes are accommodated. Maximum operating temperature range is –25ºC to 85°C, and the headers have insertion guides and are molded of RoHS compliant 94V-0 PBT material.
