Subminiature switches
have tactile feedback
The KC Series of subminiature pushbutton switches have tactile feedback with
positive detent and actuator heights ranging from 0.028 to 0.232 in. Terminal
styles are pc mount, pc mount with ESD pin, and a right-angle version. All
terminals are insert molded and silver plated. Base material and actuators are
UL 94V-0-rated, glass-filled polyester. The switch can handle 0.6 VA max at 12
V ac or dc max and the contact resistance is 100 milliohms typ. The
insulation-resistance and dielectric strength are 10
Vrms, respectively. The actuation force is 150 +/- 50 g. ($0.24 ea/1,000–stock
to 6 weeks.)
