The DCN series of supercapacitors offers capacitance values to 3,500 F, yet maintain a small case size. The expanded series includes additional values, ranging from 1 to 3,500 F, with voltage ratings from 2.7 to 5.5 WVdc. Operating temperatures range from 40 to 60°C for extended life performance.
The devices are used for battery replacements or supplements, as they do not degrade with each cycle. At 2.7 volts, DCN load life is rated at 86,700 hours. Operating life is rated at 10 years with 500,000 cycles. DCN Series capacitors are packaged with various termination styles and case diameters, based on values.
