Supplies are first with SFB technology

The Quint SFB family of industrial grade power supplies features a selective fuse-breaking (SFB) design. The technology provides up to six times the nominal current for 12 ms. The short burst of current allows individual circuit breakers to react to overloads. The faulty current paths are shut down, while the power supply continues to deliver power to the other loads. The SFB technology’s power reserve is also available for loads with high-startup-current peaks.

A dc-OK LED indicates the local status of the power supply under nominal conditions, and a dry contact provides a remote indication. The dc-OK LED and its corresponding dry contact will output change state during an overload condition to indicate a possible fault condition. The supplies are an average of 30% narrower than earlier generations. (Contact company for price and availability.)
