The 5- and 10-W RAC-SB series ac/dc power supplies are available in encapsulated PCB-mount or panel-mount formats and share the same pinout. The supplies have a footprint of approximately 2 x 1 in. and have 90 to 264-Vac inputs and can also be used with 120 to 370-Vdc supplies. Output voltages range from 3.3 to 24 Vdc in five output options. The converters provide short-circuit, overload, and overvoltage protection. All models can provide 150% of rated output power for a maximum of 30 s.
The supplies offer 76% efficiency and need no additional heat sinking or forced airflow. They operate at full power up to 50C and can be used at up to 70C if derated. Standard versions can be used down to 25C, and an -E version is available down to 40C. (From $10.11 ea/1,000 – available now.)
