Rated at 65-kA AIC fault current and tested to 160 kA 8/20 µs per IEC 61643-1, the APEX Imax surge-protection device provides low-voltage let-through and high-current-handling capability for mission-critical protection against lightning, surge, and fault current. The devices combine fast-acting low-clamp SASD and MOV technologies.
