Sync clock gen suits SONET/SDH/ATM apps

The SFX-800G synchronous clock generator translates one input, greater than 1 MHz to one of eight selectable output frequencies between 10 MHz and 1.125 GHz. The device is well suited for use in line cards, service termination cards, and similar functions to provide reliable reference, phase locked synchronization for TDM, PDH, SONET, and SDH network equipment.

The part features a 3.3-V high-precision PLL and supports most major FEC rates such as 15/14 and 255/237. Measuring 1.2 x 1.0 x 0.285 in., the SFX-800G is also jitter generation OC-192 compliant. ($29 — available now.)
