System-in-package targets automotive

The MM912F634 system-in-package for automotive window lift applications is AEC Q100-qualified and has a 16-bit MCU (S12) with 32-Kbyte flash and 2-Kbyte RAM. The device features internal RC oscillator, two autonomous window watchdogs with dedicated oscillators, and a real-time interrupt module.

The multichip device has cascaded low-dropout regulators with fault detection, a LIN 2.1 PHY, two protected low-side outputs to drive inductive loads, two protected high-side outputs, and six high-voltage inputs with wake-up capability. It also provides battery voltage sense, reverse battery protection, configurable cyclic sense, and a forced wake-up feature, a current sense module with selectable gain, chip temperature sensor (readable via the ADC channel), a two-channel PWM, and a 10-bit A/D converter.
