System timer ICs take only 30 nA

The TPL5000 and TPL5100 programmable system timers have a watchdog or a power FET driver. Both draw only 30 nA, a reduction of 90% compared to typical designs. They use a 1.8 to 5.0 V supply. The TPL5000 is for use in interrupt-driven applications and provides selectable timing from 1 to 64 s. TPL5100 is intended for use in power cycled applications and has timing from 16 seconds to 1024 seconds.

The ICs combine with any MCU and can also be used with the LMP91000 AFE for chemical sensing or LMP91050 AFE for NDIR sensing, as well as the bq25504 power management IC, and some DC/DC converters. They come in 10-pin, 3 x 5 mm VSSOP packages and cost $0.60 ea/1,000.
