OKW introduced its EVOTEC designer table-top electronic enclosures in a new smaller 100 size, increasing the range to four plan sizes. Available in two versions, one version features a large flat top for switches, pushbuttons, and touch displays, and another comes with a 12° inclined top for desktop applications. Designed for challenging work environments, the enclosures are comfortable to use, said the company.

What’s more, the sloping-top version can be specified either with or without a recess for a membrane keypad or product label. The new 100 size and the 150 size are available only with the flat top. All EVOTEC enclosures have screw pillars in the top and base for installing printed circuit boards (PCBs). Self-adhesive rubber feet ensure stability on flat surfaces, and the enclosures are assembled using Torx assembly screws to prevent tampering.
EVOTEC’s soft contours are molded from UV-stable ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0). All four plan sizes (the new 3.93 x 2.44-in. and the existing 5.90 x 3.66-in., 7.87 x 4.88-in., and 9.84 x 6.10-in. sizes) are available in off-white (RAL 9002) as standard.
Accessories include an optional IP 65 seal, wall suspension elements, and self-tapping screws for installing PCBs. Applications include measurement and control engineering, IT, medical, laboratory, and environmental technology. The enclosures can also be wall-mounted for access control. Prices start at $21.
