Tantalum caps sport lowest ESRs in class

High-rel chip capacitors reduce costs and time to market in demanding applications

Featuring dual-anode construction, the Tantamount T97 solid tantalum chip capacitors feature ESRs ranging from 0.015 to 0.17 Ω (25°C/100 kHz)—values presented as the lowest in their class. The high-reliability SMT COTS capacitors suit demanding applications where the cost of failure is high. They reduce costs and time to market by eliminating the need for customer drawings, source control drawings, or special part numbers.

The conformally coated capacitors offer high-reliability screening options—including Weibull grading—and surge-current testing options in accordance with MIL-PRF-55365 in a variety of case sizes. Capacitances range from 22 to 1,500 μF, and voltage range is from 4 to 50 V.

The tantalums feature standard SnPb terminations, with 100% tin terminations available. Operating temperature range is 55° to 125°C. (From $1.55—8 to 10 weeks ARO.)
