Temp IC targets power measurement, motor control apps
The TSC1021 temperature stable measurement IC provides a common-mode operating range of 2.8 to 30 V and can withstand an outstanding range of –32 to 60 V on its input pins without damage. As a single-chip high-side current-sense amplifier, this device simplifies the design of accurate measurement circuitry in electronic control units.
Additional features include an output voltage drift of 100 ppm/°C max and an input offset drift of 8 µV/°C max on the full temperature range. Overall current consumption is below 300 µA and operating temperature range is from –40° to 125°C. It is housed in the TSSOP-8 package and is qualified to AEC-Q100. It also offers ESD protection up to 4 kV and internal filtering for EMI performance. ($0.68 ea/1,000 — available now.)
