The OS100E Series miniature infrared transmitters have a range of −18º to 538°C. The CE-marked units consist of a remotely mounted infrared sensor head, suited for measuring temperature in tight places and harsh environments, connected via a 1.8-m shielded cable to an MPU-based signal conditioner.
Electronics are in a die-cast aluminum housing rated NEMA 4 (IP 65) with a built-in LED display switchable between °C and °F. Available outputs include 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 5 or 10 Vdc, 1 mV/deg, and Type K thermocouple, and standard features include adjustable emissivity, field-adjustable alarm output, and RS-232 interface.
