Terminal block design saves PCB space

The CTB3000/4000 rising-clamp terminal blocks have a 45° inclined wire entry designed for applications where space is at a premium or where access is restricted. Offered in standard pitches of 5 and 10 mm, the 12-mm-high blocks have vertical pins for horizontal assembly on the PCB.

The terminal blocks are molded in gray UL94 V-0 flame-retardant PA66 in contact sizes from 1 to 12 poles. The 2- to 12-pole versions are formed by 2- and 3-pole individual interlocking blocks pre-assembled before delivery. The terminals are rated at 17.5 A/250 V (5-mm pitch) or 17.5 A/750 V (10-mm pitch). (Contact Sean Bailey for pricing and availability.)
