Test adapter speeds PLCC and PGA testing
Model ANC-4044 chip test adapter provides the circuit designer with a
quick and simple method to monitor and test socketed 44-pin plastic leaded
chip carrier (PLCC) or pin grid array (PGA) type components. Numbered test
points are provided to attach oscilloscope and logic analyzer test leads
to any of the component leads. There are two LED status circuits on the
test adapter to provide a visual indication for user-selected signals. The
chip test adapter user's manual includes a template sheet of the adapter
that the designer can use as a signal-to-pin designation guide. Chip-test
adapter versions are also available to accommodate 28-, 52-, 68-, and
