Tester develops/debugs boundary-scan boards
The PM 3705 BST Explorer, in conjunction with an MS-DOS or Notebook PC,
provides easy-to-use test facilities for developing and debugging
boundary-scan prototypes and early production runs. Software included with
the PM 3705 handles the execution of tests and allows for the generation
of test vectors. Pop-up menus and easy-to-understand commands provide
user-friendly operation. The 3705 also includes PC execution software, as
well as execution software for the company's PM 3580 logic analyzer, a
boundary-scan demo board, and demo software to help users learn PM 3705
operation. (The demo board and demo software, also with tutorial material
on boundary-scan design and test, are available separately.) Optional
software tools provide automatic test pattern generation for boundary-scan
logic (PM 3770 BTPG PC software) and boundary-scan diagnostics (PM 3790
diagnostics) for identifying and pinpointing faults and their location.
The diagnostics software works with either a Notebook PC or a PM 3580
logic analyzer. The PM 3705 BST Explorer and all its options are also
available as a single package. This bundled package, the PM 3705L,includes
the complete PM 3705 package, PM 3770 BTPG software, and PM 3790
diagnostic software, as well as software and hardware certificates to add
execution and diagnostics to the PM 3580 logic analyzer. (PM 3705, $4,950;
