The fumeFan reduces fumes while soldering

With the fumeFan, all fumes go through a carbon activated filter and never in your face

If you're a builder you're aware that smoke and fumes from soldering can be hazardous to your health. With the new dynamic soldering iron fume extractor device called the fumeFan, you can adjust the airflow to your preference by simply putting it in front of the PCB you're working with.

Line up of fumeFans: Lite, Medi, Max, and Max PRO.

The fumeFan works by taking the absorbed fumes and putting them through a carbon activated filter, so you don't have to be worry about breathing in harmful toxins. You'll also never be short on light, since the fumeFan comes with powerful wide angle LEDs to improve your visibility while soldering in low-lit places.

Features include:

  • Absorbing fumes from the soldering which removes bad smell and retains the particles in the filter
  • LED light helps you see better
  • Variable fan speed from 0% to 100% so it is not noisy or annoying when you don't need full suction power
  • 12V DC or USB powered (depends on the model) which makes it safe and easy to carry around; use it everywhere
  • Helping hands – holds your PCB with up to 4 flexible croc clips arms; quick and easy PCB height/angle adjustment as well as seamless rotation
  • Magnifier on a flexible arm for the tiny components and labels on the PCBs
  • Magnet on a flexible arm to hold your tools or components handy

Depending on your needs, the fumeFan comes in four different models which are all available as kits. The fumeFan models differentiate mainly by size and air flow pressure. This includes the Lite USB powered version, with an ON/OFF switch and a 50mm filter size; the Medi 12V DC version with variable speed, LEDs and a 60cm filter size; the Max 12V DC version with variable speed, LEDs, and a 120cm filter size; and the Max PRO 12V DC version with variable speed, LEDs, 120cm filter size, a magnifier and a magnetic tool holder.
