Thermal interface pads suit harsh environs

Constructed with a ceramic-filled polyurethane film, the Keratherm U 90 thermal interface material can be used in applications where contamination concerns prohibit the use of silicone-based thermal pads. Thermal conductivity is 6.0 W/mK, thermal impedance of 0.05 Kin.2 /W, and voltage breakdown is 4.0 kV.

Tensile strength is 2.5 N/mm2 and a Shore A hardness is 70. The thermal interface material is available in thicknesses of 0.100 and 0.200 mm. (1-in.2 , 0.200-mm-thick pads, from $0.15 ea/high volume qty — available now.)
