Threaded connectors suit harsh conditions

Suited for use in harsh outdoor conditions, the ATEX- and IECex-approved Amphe-EX Series threaded connectors are designed to allow a signal to pass through Zone 1 rated areas. The explosion-proof connectors use coax, standard copper and fiber optic cables, and accept wire from 12 to 28 AWG.

Featuring machined aluminum components, the connectors are heat resistant to 750F, with operating temperatures of 67 to 225F. The connectors are flameproof, compliant to EN 60079-0 and EN 60079-1 standards, come in over 30 insert patterns, and are available in seven shell sizes.
